How can I do this? Either I can change all the passwords on my MoCA devices to that of the Verizon device, or is there a way to access the ability to change the password? Furthermore, is there a way to get the OEM version of firmware (not Verizon-branded). I would like to use the network extender as a repeater over coax. However, the Actiontec support page for this indicates that it can be enabled (network password) and changed. Connect a coax cable from the extender to a coax outlet. For the Fios Network Extender to operate, your router must also be connected to another coax outlet. The management page does not provide the ability to view the MoCA network password or change it. Place the Fios Network Extender in an area where your Wi-Fi signal is spotty. I use MoCA in my home but it seems that I cannot connect the WCB6200Q over coax, it appears due to Verizon using a network password. I bought the Verizon router (G1100) and Verizon network extender (WCB6200Q). However, I have moved to North Carolina (AT&T territory). You might also consider Moca if you have a tv coax in that room. It's as if the extender's settings are stepping on my Quantum routers settings and causing a conflict. The simplest solution is going to be to use a powerline network device. Hello, I used to be a Verizon customer in Virginia. I've had the Verizon FIOS WCB6200Q for several weeks now and everytime I plug the extender in, within 1 hour devices start dropping off of the network and cannot log back in even when I enter the correct SSID credentials.
